Jetpack Compose is a new toolkit to create Android layouts and UI in a declarative form with the power of Kotlin language. In this codelab, I am going to cover some basics of Jetpack Compose. Then I will follow the Google’s Jetpack Compose codelab live and will explain it while doing. This session entirely will be practical and laptop is recommended to follow through. If you don’t have Android Studio 4.1 Canary installed, you can still watch it and learn about how Jetpack Compose works. At the end of the session, attendees will have foundational knowledge to use Compose to create a user interface for their apps.
